Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Who We Are
VideoQuill (videoquill.com) is a trading name of Deeporax AI LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17293947, with its registered office at 932 Middleton Road, Oldham, England, OL9 9SB. This policy explains how our paid subscriptions are billed, how you can cancel, and when refunds are available.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
VideoQuill offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (for example, a monthly plan and an annual plan). Paid plans are recurring subscriptions:
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel.
- Prices are shown at checkout in US Dollars and include any applicable taxes where required.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
3. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel at any time, with no cancellation fee, from the Manage Subscription link in your account, which opens the Stripe billing portal. You may also email us at support@videoquill.com and we will cancel it for you.
When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that. We do not automatically pro-rate or refund the remainder of the current period unless required by law or stated below.
4. Refunds
4.1 14-Day Cancellation Right (UK / EU consumers)
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have the right to cancel a purchase within 14 days for a full refund. Because VideoQuill is digital content and online services supplied immediately, you agree that we begin providing the service as soon as you subscribe, and you acknowledge that your right to a refund may be lost once the service has been fully performed. Where the 14-day right still applies, contact us and we will refund you.
4.2 Goodwill & Billing-Error Refunds
Outside the statutory right above, refunds are at our discretion. We will generally issue a refund if:
- You were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after you cancelled.
- The Service was unavailable for a prolonged period due to a fault on our side and you were unable to use it.
- You contact us shortly after an unintended renewal and have not made meaningful use of the new period.
4.3 How Refunds Are Paid
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
5. How to Request a Refund
Email support@videoquill.com from the email address on your account, including the date of the charge and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly, rather than raising a chargeback.
